Your sleep routine on Dreamie

Your sleep routine on Dreamie

Dreamie's sleep routine is built around three scenes that guide you from evening wind-down through morning alarm. You can adjust or turn off any scene in Menu -> Sleep routine (open the menu by swiping up from the bottom of the screen).

Starting the sleep routine.

The scene in the middle of the screen is the active one. Dreamie's idle scene is Ambience, which represents daytime. When you're ready to start your sleep routine, swipe down from the top of the screen. You can also swipe a scene up to go backward at any time.

1. Bedtime cue

  • The bedtime cue is all about setting the ambience in your room as bedtime approaches. Think of it as a signal to your brain and your space that the evening is winding down. It's not meant to be something you fall asleep to, that's what wind down is for. The bedtime cue sets the mood so the room feels ready for sleep by the time you are.
  • Default content: fireplace
  • When it starts: controlled by the "Start before bedtime" setting (default 20 minutes before bedtime)
  • How to begin: swipe down from the top of the screen
  • How to progress: when you're ready for sleep, swipe down again from the top of the screen to move to wind down
  • Want to skip it? Menu > Sleep routine > toggle off "include in my sleep routine"

2. Wind down

  • Wind down is the content you actively fall asleep to, and it's perfect for podcasts. It has a built-in sleep timer so the audio fades out on its own once you're asleep.
  • How to start it: swipe down from the top of the screen
  • Sleep timer: look for the moon icon on the home screen during this scene to set or adjust your timer
  • When it stops: automatically, when the sleep timer ends

3. Noise mask

  • A steady sound that runs through the night to keep the room consistent.
  • When it starts: automatically, as soon as wind down's sleep timer finishes
  • When it stops: when your alarm goes off

Adjusting any scene

Two ways to get there:

  1. Open the menu (swipe up from the bottom of the screen) and tap Sleep routine
  2. Or, for a shortcut, tap the name of the active scene directly from the home screen
  • From there you can change the content, adjust durations, or turn any scene off entirely.
